Volunteering
The Friends’ Shop is staffed entirely by volunteers, a team of wonderful people who are committed to providing a first-class service to the staff, visitors and patients of Savernake Hospital.
We take aTrolley Shop up onto Ailesbury Ward every morning so the 
patients can buy newspapers and magazines, confectionery, biscuits and toiletries.
We are always looking for new volunteers who can help us run the shop, and keep it open as much as possible during the week. If you have only an hour to spare, that would still be enough to help.
The Shop Volunteer hours are shown below.

| 09.30 – 11.30am | to catch the early crowd, and keep the Shop open while the trolley shop is up on the ward |
| 10.30am – 1pm | morning opening (includes the Trolley Shop) |
| 1 – 3.45pm | afternoon opening and cashing up |
Friends of Savernake Committee
We would also love to have more volunteers on the Committee. We meet approximately every 6 weeks so it’s not a big committment, and mainly discuss the awarding of Grants.
